Responsible integral ethics is one of our main areas of concern in the promotion of ecological ethics. We used responsible integral ethics as a measure in investigating the causes and the consequences of ecological issues such as the drying up of rivers, gradual disappearing ice on Mount Kilimanjaro, and severe drought.
It is precisely in this context that the contextual school of ethics and environment advocates for responsible integral ethics as a major theory for addressing ecological challenges in our contemporary societies. We describe the responsible integral ethical theory as an ethic that sensitizes and creates awareness while defining the human person’s role on how to care for creation in a participatory manner.
